Dr. Karen Brown, DNP BSN RN

Dr. Karen Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Public Health Nurse Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

She is a registered nurse and lifestyle management strategist committed to advancing physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being across diverse communities. Recognizing early in life that healthy living must be cultivated from the inside out, she founded Square Two Health Consulting to help churches build intentional systems that promote sustainable wellness.

For more than a decade, she has partnered with faith-based organizations to implement evidence-based education initiatives focused on diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and lifestyle management. Her teaching integrates trusted research examining how environment, daily habits, and social conditions influence chronic disease trends across North America.

Her work combines clinical rigor with spiritual conviction — equipping churches to build systems that cultivate stewardship and resilience.
